I’ve always been a word nerd, fascinated by the play of language across the page. After years of silently correcting grammatical and punctuation errors found in the wild, finding a route to doing it professionally seemed like serendipity.

In my day job, I work as a commercial estimator—which is a wonderful job where I sit alone in a room all day looking for miniscule details in construction plans. You may be able to see the similarities with proofreading. The goal is to one day only do proofreading.

In my spare time, I’m a full-time nerd, so you can find me playing D&D, reading, video gaming, and learning about dinosaurs.
